About Counseling
Clients
I typically work with children and adolescents starting at 2.5 years old. I provide a safe and supportive therapeutic environment for clients to become strong advocates for themselves, gain confidence, navigate challenges and overcome tough obstacles.

I work with adults navigating life challenges, parenting concerns, moderate anxieties and depression, and overall struggles affecting your everyday life.

Therapeutic Approaches
My therapeutic style is relational-based and focuses on creating a safe therapeutic alliance. I combine play-based and talk therapies, depending on the needs of each individual. A typical session may include playing a game to practice frustration tolerance, processing through strong emotions, or learning skills to reframe thinking patterns. I use person-centered approaches, strength-based approaches, mindfulness, bibliotherapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy in sessions. At times I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, (TF-CBT) techniques.

Notes for Youth
Going to counseling is a bold and brave step. I will do my best supporting you to discover your strengths, overcome obstacles, and continue evolving into the most amazing YOU! I welcome you to reach out to me.

Concerns
I provide therapy with children and adolescents navigating trauma, stress, divorce, parental substance use, foster care, reunification, PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral concerns, peer and school challenges, family/sibling conflict, ASD, ID, self-esteem, self-advocacy, LGBTQIA+ issues, and more.

Notes for Guardians
I encourage you to reach out and contact me with any questions or concerns. I maintain confidentiality and trust with each child and adolescent in session, and work with guardians/adults through check-ins and occasional family work.
