About Me
Hi there! I’m Bethanie, and I’m so glad you’re here!

I feel therapy is based in connection. This connection creates the foundation and opportunity for trust, growth, healing, and learning.

I specialize in creating a safe, trusting, honest, and fun environment for children and adolescents, where they can discover their strengths and tackle life’s challenges. I extend this same supportive space to adults, recognizing that everyone has their own journey and deserves to be heard.

I'd like to share a bit about myself. Questions? Just ask!

I was born and raised in Northern New York on the beautiful St. Lawrence River.
My passion for working with children and families started when I began babysitting at twelve. In 10th grade, I realized I wanted to become a therapist, and I've been on this amazing path ever since, gaining years of experience with kids, families and adults in various agencies, roles and settings.
I graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I settled in Maine in 2001 after an amazing cross-country travel and camping adventure, living briefly in Arizona. In 2010, I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Southern Maine.

Camping, travelling and being in nature with my wife and friends are my greatest adventures. Sunshine, beaches and being with my kitties are my happy places!

I strongly believe in equal rights for everyone and am passionate about supporting and uplifting all individuals.
