About Me
Hi! My name is Bethanie. I'm happy you stopped by!

I feel therapy is based in connection. This trust creates the foundation and opportunity for openness, growth, healing, and learning.
I specialize in creating a safe, trusting, honest and fun space for children and adolescents to realize their strengths and navigate through life's challenges. I hold this same space for adults. I consider myself a relational-based therapist and work across all spectrums.

With this connection in mind, I'd like to share a bit about myself. Questions? Just ask!

I began working with children and families while babysitting when I was twelve. In 10th grade I decided I wanted to be a therapist. I've worked with adults and children in numerous capacities ever since.

I was born and raised in Northern NY on the St. Lawrence River. I graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. My travels after college lead me cross-county, in AZ for a year, then 'settling' in ME in 2001. I graduated with my Master's Degree in Counseling in 2010 from the University of Southern Maine.

Camping, travelling and being in nature with my wife and friends are my greatest adventures. Sunshine is my happy space!

I strongly believe in equal rights for all and will continually strive to do better and support each other.
Welcome!
