About Me
Hi! My name is Bethanie. I'm happy you stopped by!

I feel therapy is based in connection. This trust creates the foundation and opportunity for openness, growth, healing, and learning.

I specialize in creating a safe, trusting, honest, and fun environment for children and adolescents, helping them recognize their strengths and navigate life's challenges. I extend this same supportive space to adults, understanding that everyone faces their own struggles and needs a place to be heard and supported.

With this connection in mind, I'd like to share a bit about myself. Questions? Just ask!
My passion for working with children and families started when I began babysitting at the age of twelve. In 10th grade, I realized I wanted to become a therapist, and since then, I have gained experience working with both adults and children in various roles.

I was born and raised in Northern NY on the St. Lawrence River. I graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. My travels after college led me cross-county, in AZ for a year, then 'settling' in ME in 2001. I graduated with my Master's Degree in Counseling in 2010 from the University of Southern Maine.

Camping, travelling and being in nature with my wife and friends are my greatest adventures. Sunshine is my happy space!

I strongly believe in equal rights for everyone and am passionate about supporting and uplifting all individuals.
Welcome!
